Don’t forget Aughnacloy Truagh Historical Society’s monthly talk happens this Tuesday 14th October 8pm at McCreedy’s Mill. Mr. Walter McFarlane will recount his personal story of his mothers service as a nurse during World War II and other related matters. Red Apple Arts are also expected to be on hand to show images and model of a significant new piece of art planned for the Diamond area of the town. A planning application has recently been submitted in relation to this.
